Michael, it takes 7 to 9 months to complete construction of a 2500 square foot custom home.

In much of central Texas the soils contain high quantities of fatty clay (great farming soil) which can absorb high quantities of water creating high swell potential, or during drought conditions shrink considerably. Without proper drainage and maintenance this can be devastating to a home's foundation.
